I think you need to calm down. While you are at it, take a moment to consider that not so long ago, Christianity was engaging big time in witch hunts and Inquisition, which killed tens of thousands of their own people. If you have read the Old Testament, you probably know that Islam is not singularly egregious in strange stories of bloody violence. One could argue that he should have adopted her if that was his intention, or that the age for marriage was not far from menstruation in those days, but I am only going to respond by reminding you of Lot and how he offered his (allegedly) virgin daughters to townsmen to use as they please. I think this was after these daughters in question got him drunk and seduced him in bed :) Anyway, I hope this conversation will not degenerate into a defense of this incident. All I am saying is that there are things in the world's major religions that are completely inacceptable in our day and age but one has to be tolerant about them if only out of respect for other people's beliefs.
