10:02 ET ISM services index down, but better than expected : The ISM's non-manufacturing index fell to 53.1% in Oct from 53.9% in Sep, but this was better than the 52.0% consensus The index has now spent four months in the low 50s area, consistent with the view that the economy continues to expand, but at a sluggish pace. There was nothing particularly new or surprising in this release.
