OT,,

First I'm amazed by your good fortune in holding amat short overnite. I think you owe lady luck a beer.

re disks. I like wdc's fundamentals. ANd now each time it runs into a resistence point, it will sell-off, then run into a higher high.

Seagate announced they want to ipo when the time is favorable. So I think the brokers will try to support disk stock prices. Though I'm sure the imaginative shorts can always make money against the trend. Me, I'm just a timid long.

Good luck with AMAT. I do think it is ripe for picking, though.

Sarmad

I thought I read somewhere recently that Seagate might run an IPO.

Right you are. And since GS and JPM are big owners, they have to get WDC and MXO valuation ratios up to price it just in time for a Dec IPO at the seasonal peak. <g>
