Indeed. What could possibly be more *fair* than a flat rate? Everybody pays the same *rate*. If you work harder and/or smarter, you earn more than those who don't. That's as fair as it gets.

Yet, to be more than fair to low wage earners like yourself, we could exempt from taxation the first $25 thousand of everyone's gross earnings. It would be a level field, would promote growth, and tax revenues would soar.
