Checks and balances" have NOTHING, and should have nothing, to do with social and economic forces in this country. You aren't thinking clearly. Do you want to abolish the city police force? That is a check on criminal crime, but the police aren't supposed to Rodney King anyone they don't like, they are subject to review. That is a balance. Checks and balances are essential to stability and liberty. You just get caught up in the rhetoric and don't think through what you are writing. TP
