I didn't suggest that some Israelis are not sensitive to human rights criticisms. I do suggest that Israel is not showing any sensitivity to the issue, to the extent that I can see. We are, of course, talking about the state of Israel, who is the decision-making power there. The fact of the matter is that Ha'aretz people can "argue back and forth" all they want and Sharon's government keeps on going his own way. I don't remember using the word "checkpoints" so I do not know what you are answering to.
