??? Those are the ticker symbols? I'm not familiar with them.

I used to follow AVN.UN . Nice steady 13% yield.

Quick note on the Canadian RTs

ERF is the bigger, steadier, more NG heavy, and most highly respected of the American exchange traded RTs. It has been performing the best lately. Until recently that honor on a price appreciation basis for the year had been PVX's.....NCN and PGH bring up the rear with PGH particularly hurting in the last couple of months as an acquisition is digested and units outstanding correspondingly increased.

Owning both ERF and PVX, looking to add PVX position in about this area on what seems to be oil price weakness. Last 12 month's return has been in the 30% range from appreciation and distributions. Happily I know from experience.

Wave and Chris,

I own AVN.UN (up the wazoo for a long time, since before they were as trust :o) :o) also PWI.UN and more recently PVE.UN and AE.UN. A little COS.UN in the mix for a Tar Sands play. Canucky REITs and trusts thread. I've got lots of other non energy trusts but I shan't bother you with those.
Subject 17783

Here's some trusts but not all energy.
finance.yahoo.com

I've played NCN before but not for a long while. Took cap gains in the NG bubble and never looked back. As I recall they are not the most astute hedgers (yeah you other ersatz goldbugs good hedging is good news for these trusts in this environment :o)

I don't follow the two you mention but I've seen them (ERF for sure) discussed on the link I posted.

Hey CD... AVN is off it's recent run to new highs and is pumping out 16+% yum .. on my ACB it's almost a 25% yield... yum yum..:o) Makes up for some of my crappy trading...

regards
