Well the small producers who make up a very large % of PTEN's business have reportedly not been very active over the last few quarters.

Lehman covers 70% of production and Jefferies covers even more with 100 producers. The results all point the same direction at more or less the same rate.

I could not hold onto my margin buying power for long as I jumped on NBR during its dip today. Back to ~1/2 margin applied.

No war soon means the uncertainty of IRAQ's production is off the table for now as well as other war issues that could impact the economy. The weather is not exactly bullish in the 6-14 day period, but we have the remainder of this week which gives two potentially good draws to chew on in this environment.

I threw in the towel on HOFF & HC today, and rolled most of it into KEG. Lehman has a price target of $12 for HC and their analysis of HC continually seems to result in lower earnings. HOFF? Frank can stick with it but it is one too many laggard positions to follow.

Lets see if the API's give the shorts something to worry about.
