Nadine - What is it that you do not understand? I am not saying it is wrong for Israelis to try to be together as a nation. The tiny problem is there are quite a lot of them scattered around and that them coming in means settlements into Palestinian land. Correct me if I am wrong, but I do not see a lot of skyscraper projects in Israel and I do see a lot of Jewish colonies in Palestinian territories.

>If French immigration law prefers ex-pat Frenchmen over others, is that racist too?

Nadine, your insistence on not misunderstanding my posts is reaching impressive proportions. Repeat: Israel can invite all the Jews he wants into Israel, as long as they do not spread further into Palestinian land. Do you see France trying to plant colonies into Italy because French people are coming back home??? Really... What are you talking about?

>And will you get off this line of "theft of Palestinian land"?

Nooo, because that is pretty much what it is. And this is not even going into the initial establishment of Israel - giving away the land on which another people lived to Jewish people, just because the world felt sorry for them that they were prosecuted so horribly in WWII.

That is all in the past and I am not suggesting that Israel should pack up and go elsewhere at all. Still, you might understand a little bit the frustration of the people living there when Jewish people came to settle, AND THEN decided to invite all Jews anywhere on earth to come live with them :)

I have a question for you, Nadine: You say "Jews have been a nation for millenia". How come they did not have a country before they were awarded one? I mean, all other nations had to FIGHT for a country, right?

(Going home now but back tomorrow for the fan mail I expect I will be receiving after this post that no doubt will be perceived as "friendly to Zionism" :)
