Let me say it for her. For years we have been putting Lawyers in office who don't always represent us as well as I'd like. Now thats not a slam on you but it is a concern of mine. It seems like the result is more laws and red tape. I realize that I'm using a pretty broad brush stroke in making that remark but its an opinion I hold. I'm sure you're a good lawyer and to be honest I could use a guy for a med mal case over here. So while I would rather not put you in office that doesn't mean I wouldn't want you to work with me <g>

Everybody loves Lawyers.........when they need one :-)

As a lawyer, wouldn't you rather be a lawyer and not a politician?
We had a Mayor who was a Lawyer, he knew all the necessary lawyer speak to dazzle us us with ...well you know. You didn't know what hit you until you stepped back and said. HEY!! wait a second!! LOL.
But he was very interesting man. Guaranteed the press a goofy story almost every week. No to mention the editorial cartoonists!!!!!!
He was a one termer, and the Mayors around here are all like that.

Then there was this slick lawyer who bambooozled everyone into voting for him for President. Go fig.
