Who are you to decide if I have too many sheep or goats? Or, more to the point, who is the government to decide? There is nothing in the constitution that says there should be a limit on accumulated wealth. If I want to accumulate more than I can consume, that's my business, and my right.

You say progressive taxation is fair. I say it's unfair. Where you stand depends upon where you sit, I suppose. I sit with Peter, whily you prefer to sit with Paul.

No I'm not, because they are interrelated. For the Democrats, the end justifies the means. They want to redistribute wealth, and the discriminatory progressive tax system is the easiest means for them to do so. To believe they are unrelated issues is to be in a state of utter denial.
