Al >If Bush takes a hit it should be proof enough that he didn't conspire to destroy the US.

Or else he was just a fall guy or else he knew too much. Anyway, I don't believe he did conspire to destroy the US. In fact, I don't think anyone can conceive of anything like destroying the US. However, I do believe certain people very close to him knew a great deal about 911 and the anthrax etc and if you let me whisper in your ear I'll tell you who they are!

>The Islamic extremists have the most reason to get at Bush...not?

You speak of "most" reason. Who knows? Clearly, they have reason --- but most? Who had "most" reason to assassinate JFK? Who had "most" reason to assassinate John Lennon?! Anyway, I would not like to be in Dubya's shoes --- even if they are of the cowboy variety.

>[Sirhan Sirhan] sued the prison for the right to a daily toothbrush and my friend testified in favor of the prison so Sirhan had to make due with the monthly brush.

I wonder what your friend had against Sirhan brushing his teeth? Seems a pretty innocent activity especially for a guy who didn't even do what he was arrested and sentenced for.

>Peace Corps does do a worthwhile job in helping poor people build up local infrastructure necessary for underprivileged populations to sustain themselves

Also provides an excellent training opportunity for US citizens to get hands on experience in "developing" countries. Pardon my cynicism, but one could probably find that having Peace Corps on one's CV is an excellent recommendation for getting into the CIA.
