if Democrats pick up Senate seats, then GOP loses majority unsure how stocks would like that such a shift no longer means pickup in liberal spending instead likely seen as veto of Bush Iraqi policy if GOP picks up Senate seats, then a mandate to attack Iraq is likely to be concluded so gold will rise, stocks will lose ditto House just a couch view really we will see most remarkable to me is the widely held view that the Fed can help the economy at all, and esp stocks they ruined the economy, and esp stocks, by painting a picture, building a road, cheering as the masses filed onto the road, defending that road as it became pocked with holes, and to this day denies responsibility why look to their killer agent for help? the answer lies somewhere between utter desperation and utter illiteracy, sadly / jim
