LOL, your points are correct, I get what you trying to say. But I would not give bonds a nickle for his talent. I do enjoy hot dogs and will pay a hot dog vendor when I'm hungry.

literally, you only pay to experience the excitement of the ball game, and that is not the product of a single individual. According to the sportscasters the game of baseball is endangered by outrageous salary demands. Teams that can't pay for winners will consolodated (I think that was the word they used).
These aren't the demands of the hotdog vendors precisely because they can easily be replaced. This is a foreshadowing of the types of problems that occur anytime that a positive feedback system is in place, allowing the powerful to use their leverage to gain more power, prestige, and wealth. It's not a pretty site, even when the crowd cheers.
