Then even J. Attalee in his thousand pages "Verbatim" mislead me, even if Mitterrand was strongly working for Arafat's survival. For sure Sharon and Begin wanted to finish Arafat with a single bullet, and could have done so, if... A funny side story is that some three Israelis told me they had Arafat's head right in their sniper's scope, but the order to shoot never came. Thus I figure that a good thousand guys peddle their own silver bullet story around, while they shouldn't be more than three, and chances I met them all is much beyond a top winning lottery ticket...
