I agree Tom. I have known a lot of people who have played soccer, badmitton, minature golf and other games that I find goofy, and they have all been nice folks.

You said baseball got "plain boring" when you discovered the "beautiful" game. As if baseball isn't beautiful and interesting to millions of people? You are implying baseball fans are blind or dumb, thus casting a broad personal character attack on a group of people based upon a preference for a game. Like all soccer fans I have met in my life, you take your sport's criticism personally. I know of no other sport where that happens. Ah, the mysteries of life...
