Ah yes, the Olivia Newton-John style of hindu prana .... an excellent practice - in addition to igniting the breath, energising the body and inspiring the spirit, it can help settle you down [or is it 'up'] for meditation, which is itself highly useful .... although not, perhaps, when you're driving

Several jobs i've had involved managing a ute in its progress up and down fifteen-foot-wide logging roads while attempting to avoid collision with sixteen-foot-wide logging trucks, which is not always as easy as it sounds, especially when two of the latter are passing each other, due to the usual high rates of speed and blind corners .... always there was a radio, with a handheld mike, on which one called one's miles exactly as one passed the milepost .... to forget to speak up on miles just before some of those corners, was a game we called BC Roulette .... now any motor vehicle without a radio is to me lacking a certain je ne sais quoi, still when i take the cellphone with me i just use it to call out, and only when parked, turn it off otherwise .... that's half the beauty of getting out and about in the world - you break your connection to the wires with which people yank your chain
