Well, I'm trying to find the context within the CSCO/Fed/Nov. 6-8 Turn window to fit a run to NDX 1100 and a drop to NDX 960 for Max Pain. That's what's goofing me. Actually, only CSCO is goofing me. The rest makes sense without CSCO's earnings.

imo it doesn't have anything to do with CSCO sucking. CSCO has sucked for over a year and it isn't about to stop now. it hasn't stop them from spinning it into happy news and ramping the piss out of it.

i guess the "safe" play for downward max pain is partial position at whatever looks like a reasonable top tomorrow - i'm still hoping for 26.50 on QQQ - and a second helping thursday if we don't go to the moon.

eugene pointed it out last month: 10% away from maxpain with 8 trading days to go is a gift. i don't mind him being right again.
