Hi Sarmad,

>>In your tables, there's a column named "Rate" What does it mean. A rate of 1400 for WDC. Is that good or bad ?

The rate column rates the moving averages considered in the table for the current day's close. This result is what I use to sort the stronger stocks from the weaker. The number does not consider the day to day trend. It rates the moving average trends and positions for the current day only. The trend is determined by the date columns and color shading.

WDC's current moving average returns a Y5Y4Y3Y4 for yesterday's close.

Y5 - indicates the Weekly MACD is rising and above the signal (Y) and its rise scores a 5. This trend scores 100 points times the rise score...100x5=500

Y4 - indicates the 50 day EMA (exponential moving average) is rising (Y) and its rise slope scores a 4. This trend scores a cumulative 50 points for each point one and above times the rise score....(50x1)+(50x2)+(50x3)+(50x4)=500

Y3 - indicates the current stock price is above the 200 Day SMA (simple moving average)(Y) and is 25 to 34.9% above it. Rounds that percent to the nearest tens and divides by ten (30/10=3) to get the score. This position scores a cumulative 25 points for each point one and above times the rise score....(25x1)+(25x2)+(25x3)=150

Y4 - indicates the 200 day EMA is rising (Y) and its rise slope scores a 4. This position also scores a cumulative 25 points for each point one and above times the rise score....(25x1)+(25x2)+(25x3)+(25x4)=250

Sum up the totals 500+500+150+250 returns the score column rating of 1400.

Good or bad?? That's in the eye of the beholder. The trend is good, but could be nearing overbought...beats me at this level!
