Funny you should mention it, I went to a bank to open another checking account, the better to direct money market bank wire transfers from my broker when the buck gets close to breaking. Spoke with the rep there, a pleasant young guy who had peddled shares for Schwab in a previous lifetime. Told him why I was there and referenced the MarketWatch article about breaking the buck...the guy almost $hit a brick! I said, "hey, this is a golden opportunity for you guys with the FDIC connections!" You could see the light bulb go, on; his face lit up like a 10/7 double bonus machine that just dealt a Royal! Hopefully he'll use his newly acquired insight for good and not for evil...<G>
