See, you have half a mind to do one thing [ban rants] and that leaves the other half to do something else [such as typing or steering]. We constantly hear the idle boast that the vast human intellect is only used to 10% of it's capacity.

Well, if the vast human intellect can't steer a car and put the brakes on while half a mind is on the job, it's a pretty pathetic piece of work. The silly claim that man was created in the image of the big fella with the beard [not you David] is obviously false, or the bearded one really isn't all that he's cracked up to be and it's hard to imagine him designing and building me, you and the rest of the stuff in 7 days.

We hear the idle boast from women that they are great at multi-tasking so perhaps they can do the cellphone and car thing without missing a beat - even when the traffic's in turmoil.
