RE:"Baghdad Jim"
Who's that?

Congressman Jim McDermott, who pronounced Bush to be "untrustworthy" and who saw no reason not to take "Saddam at his word", whilst standing in Baghdad.

Or did you think I meant Baghdad Jim McMannis <g>???

I think tonight has been a referendum on Bush's policy and on the Democrat's rallying cry, "It's the Economy, Stupid".

After tonight, I think we can see that is ISN'T the economy stupid, that it is defense of the nation. And I believe that Bush now has the mandate that Al Gore and the Democrats stole from him (by their two years of persistent innuendo suggesting that Bush didn't win the election).

"...it smells like ... victory"...
