Great post. This says it all, yet how many listen? Tell it to someone, and you get that standard, drilled-into-their-heads, "I'm fully-invested in the market for the long-term because it is the only place in the last 100 years that you can make enough money to retire well-off."

Everyone is brain-washed by the 1990's. It was the decade of grooming the sheep for the shear. Sad, indeed.
