First time I ever heard him talk in a civil manner. He actually sounded humble in defeat. More or less said that the ball was now in the hands of the Republicans.
GW needs to act like Reagan and get this economy moving. Tax cuts are needed but he needs to convince the American people that the people are the source of growth not government. This has been a huge night for him and even the liberal media is surprisingly giving him the credit he deserves.
By the way CNN was blaming Daschle and the liberals for clinging to the union position over national security in the Homeland security debate as the turning point of the election. GW effectively used this against them in his last travels through the country
