Total repudiation. The magnitude of this win is much larger than the numbers.

I doubt we'll see the coward lefties like Screech or Kenneth show up here any time soon. Their master McAuliffe is summoning them back to HQ in full retreat.

Looks like he got his guy in S. Dakota as a consolation prize.

It's worthless, of course. The party has rung every dollar they can out of the wealthy left, and will now get out spent 5 to 1 in the LA run off.

Don't look for anything but a CR from the 'duck session. A deal will be made over organization for this short period, partly so the demoralized 'ducks can get home, and forget.

Next big news is in early 2003, when Renquist and 1 or 2 other Justices announce their delayed retirements. I'm gonna LOVE the Scalia Court!...

Daschle looked like one sad puppy this morning. Is Gray Davis now the head of the Democratic Party? <gg> The Democrats have no agenda and are headed back to the drawing board. Last night Peggy Noonan said it was the end of the "Clinton Era." McAuliffe is history. It will be interesting to see what emerges.

Bush took an enormous risk by nationalizing the election. A pretty gutsy move that paid off big time. A very aggressive, energetic exercise for a guy who hates the campaign trail. BTW, Carl Rove is a genius.
