"gop takes the senate with maybe 51 seats, but needs 60 votes to get stuff passed" As I am sure you know, they can pretty much get everything they want with a simple majority. Also, as I am sure most of you know despite the comments here, the statistical history of having a Rep. Congress and Pres is the best possible makeup of all the variables. I am shocked. This is twice in 3 days..the msft ruling and now this. The market has rallied for some reason other than fundies, and now it has produced justification, ie, rate cuts and a much better political climate for business. These are not bearish things. The bulls needed a few home runs and they have gotten a couple now.
