Absolutely. This has got to be a real wakeup call, and they need to make some changes or they'll be more marginal and powerless than the UN.

Hi Bill, I agree that in general, the election was a disaster for Dems, but as a Dem I think the next two years are going to be extremely difficult for the ruling party, what with an almost-certain repeat of terrorism on our shores and a faltering economy. I'm looking forward to seeing how the Republicans handle things. And then I'm looking forward to another Democrat in the WH and a Dem-ruled Senate..... :-) BTW, what, specifically, is the hatred in the Democratic platform that you referred to?
