I don't like thinking about the ethics of owning the SA miners. I am trading paper earned by sitting in cushy chair in a climate controlled office for real wealth created by the blood, sweat, and tears of some poor bastards in Africa. <ng>

Extraction industries are dangerous, the barbarous relic is no exception. Sounds like there's room for improvement there, though...

34 people died last year pulling the barbaric relic out of the ground. I hope they can do better than that for the coming year.
