Tell me. Why should your hard earned money fund a wealthy old person's drugs?

Poet,

I think some questions should be asked about wisdom of feeding people with un-natural substances which will temporarily hide symptoms of their illnesses, rather than curing people.

I personally would prefer that the Federal government does not become a drug dealer for the country. It is only a question of time until it comes to surface that the wholesale use of drugs, such as cholesterol lowering, blood pressure lowering drugs etc. has no net positive effect, but instead, it is harming people. Then, watch out for the law suits.
