c2,

<< My preferred poison these days is 15 year-old MacAllan's. >>

Haven't tried it. Last trip to UK I was drinking Macallan 10 single malt at the pubs. Quite good.

Last few times I've flown home BOAC I bought a very modestly priced Wild Grouse 12 year blended malt (not available in stores here) duty-free on the plane. Excellent.

<< Can a 15 year old single malt be better than its 18 year old big brother? >>

Sure. Its all a matter of personal taste with malts. I don't particularly like the Macallan 25, but the 18 is my favorite single malt and Usquebach 15 my favorite blended malt.

As for personal taste my favorite Sazerac away from home is poured at the back bar of Commander's ... bourbon instead of rye, and I have em served on the rocks like they serve em at Galatoire's which is where I had my first one served outside of New England some 35 years or so ago.

<< Can you say 28 cents, maybe 29, earned this quarter? >>

I can say it. I'll be drinking Thunderbird if we don't hit 28¢ however.

What I'll really be watching is GAAP net margin.
