Stock is something they have that can be sold .. like chips .. They have chips, that means they can sell chips. If they run short of chips they make more .. They also have stock .. they sell stock .. if they run out they can print more or buy more .. Stock is a better product to work with than chips .. That's because you can sell options on stocks faster than options on chips .. Now if they want to sell puts you should see all the bad news that comes out ..
