Sit down and calculate the amount that money would have compounded out to even with marginal rates of return and then tell me you are not sick to your stomach....SS is pure financial rape for those who work 40 years.....don't forget to add in the 7.65% of wages your employer matched....Social Security needs to be overhauled and right fricking now...
