thats not the crashing part- SV specifically Palo Alto and the overpriced areas next to all the super highpaying jobs at the likes of - webvan,inktomi,excite@home,epiphany,kana - is the crashing part.

It doesn't show up in the RE statistics though. I have a friend who is a loan broker here and thats where I get my info. RE in the palo alto area has ground to a halt and that means crasheroo... (which anybody could have predicted once the mkt took a dive like this)
