Bad move. Market's in the crap now. Even the Fed has come out with a vote of no confidence on the economy.

This bear/bust was caused by the bubble - which was severe misallocation of capital into badly thought out ventures.

So the fed's response, instead of tough love for unviable business, is to make it easier to borrow money to misallocate. What on Earth is Greenspan thinking?
