Schwarzenegger Doug? Hoping to strike lightning twice by picking ANOTHER B-actor? I think that would be a big mistake picking someone so laughably unqualified. California Republicans need to find some better candidates. Davis was really ripe to be taken. Richard Riordan was a proven administrator, a self-made man and a pragmatic centrist with a demonstrated ability to work with all factions to get things done. The primary voters instead pick some right-wing rich kid ready, willing and able to blow Daddy's money to get this big job. Total novices like Simon used to start out running for school board but now its straight to governor if you got the dough. If California Republicans really want to know why Davis is still Gov, they should look in the mirror. John
