it's worse than that, their cash flow dropped by a cool half-billion dollars. doesn't matter, market will do what it will do.

CSCO crowing about $1.067 billion in operating cash flow.

by my math they have never had a single quarter in the last 3 years where cash flow was less than $1.132 billion (their October 1999 quarter). furthermore, cash generation is down <23%> year-over-year, down <34%> sequentially, and down <34%> from the average of the last 8 quarters. but of course we don't care cash generation; they beat "earnings".

also the stock-option wealth-transfer game is alive and well. in the last 15 months Cisco has spent $2.9 billion buying back its own stock and the outstanding share count is somehow HIGHER.

OK, so i have declining cash generation AND i own a smaller proportionate share of that cash generation despite all available cash being used to buy back stock. sounds like a buy to me!!
