OT: So IMO the Dems have an excellent point in the tax relief-thing. If the tax relief was given disproportionately to those lower on the economic scale, it would immediately be spent on consumer goods, rather than investments. That would be a very good thing for the economy. In trade, we could then give the upper economic levels tax relief on our capital gains: also a very good thing. The combination would be much better for the market than what we have now. Synergistic effect, actually. Is anyone out there (in government) listening? -Own
