Slider, Agreed: I think we backed & filled here at the HUI 105-115 level forming a solid, strong handed base and that sometime in the next 90 days the HUI explodes thru 175-185ish... a 50-60 point uninterrupted move similar to what we saw this spring when we stalled at 150. I just posted a similar post over on TATRADER (EDIT: a Public Service message) and hedged my view for targets as "by June 2003". That was based on the previous moves in 93 and other years and was also, I admit, a bit of hedging in case they manage to keep the lid on POG, somehow, for a bit. Your scenario is more likely, as it would duplicate the angles of both the decline in July and the rise in May. For example, on the spot gold tape this morning, the last two hours it just brings a picture to me of the FED sitting on the lid of a pressure cooker named GOLD, VBG. I'm in IT to LT mode now, and will just relax and watch the show from here on in. Enjoy! Roebear
