Better men than you have drawn similar conclusions over the last century. They all died broke, and raving mad...

Cyberken,

LLCF, a/k/a DAK, is clearly not, and unlikely to end up, raving mad -- read his shrewd posts.

The ideas set forth in his post have probably made him more cautious than some of us, but, having read a lot of his posts over several years, I'd guess that they've led him to a high cash position, with some gold and maybe a few irresistibly-cheap biotechs -- not to gold, leveraged short positions, and lots of canned goods and isolated country property (that's the stuff that can drive you "raving mad").

ROFLMAO! But you don't know THEM or ME! Nice little ditty anyway. BTW, stark raving mad men AND women usually DO die broke!

<But don't invest on it.>

Too late, gold shares up > 100% this year... but that will be dwarfed by future gains... and don't worry, I apparently don't bet like you. Chance of dying broke = zero. Not that it matters when you're dead. But hold the opinion, yes... it seems pretty obvious to me, and the fact that few talking heads see it cements my opinion.

Let's watch and enjoy the show... and good luck.
