Sam,
Seeing your comments about PVR - Dish box. I have one and can't imagine life before PVR. TiVo must be much better for you to say what you have.

The only problem I have is e.g when recording a football game that runs over 3 hours and the guide has it as 3hours, I miss the end. Knowing this, I edit the record time to 3.5 hours. Does TiVo work better at this?

For most people, I would think even the DishPVR would be great. Also, do you pay a monthly subscription to TiVo? You don't with Dish, I know.

Curious what your thoughts are on Pause function with TV (integrated into TVs) - 15-30 minutes, vs. full-fledged PVR?

Thanks,
Ketan

My computer is not strong enough and the media center is just exactly what I want next. I think HP and msft are correct about eventual convergence but at some point I think entertainment modules will go back to standing alone and communicate with the processor by radio, a la intel's view.
