If they were serious about informing the public, it would've been broadcast during the trading session not after. This news was out on yahoo yesterday morning.
The media's control on releasing information will keep
the sheeple from selling large weighted dow stocks at all costs. Don't want to break the rally by actually reporting
relevant info when it happens.

ATA, The fact is, every 15 years or so we have a pension disaster. The old, such as moi, have lived through a couple of these pension alerts. So far, the bears have been crying wolf. A better stock market bails out the cos. It reminds me of the middle ages. The Byzantine Empire was Greek Orthodox, and European Catholics didn't really trust them. Several times they screamed that the Muslims were about to take Constantinople, and each time European powers took up arms to rescue the greatest city in Christendom. And each time, superior western military technology saved the city before the Europeans got there. Then, the last time they called for help, nobody showed up and Constantinople became the greatest city in The Ottoman Empire. The same thing will happen to our pension funds some day.
