the entire world economy hangs on the US economy
the entire US economy hangs on the overburdened US consumer

the majority of US consumers are running out of confidence, racking up added debt, often surviving thru REFI's and extended Mastercards, struggling to maintain a standard of living that would be impossible without debt and foreign savings, fears for their jobs

yeah, I see them pulling in spending in a big way
watch the Retail Index (RLX)
I expect it to suffer a Tech-like correction

this Christmas will mark clearly the Double Dip that hack economists have been (politically correctly) dismissing

they have compromised their entire craft under political and client pressures, even as they have adulterated it with heretical notions which are repeatedly disproven

watching the tight inexorable grip of recession is like witnessing your prized horse descend in quicksand in front of your own eyes

oy, a recession is coming
hire Paul Revere and his horse
the Fed finally sees it coming, to its horror
next comes the USDollar decimation

but with it comes a stubborn refusal for the trade gap to budge
AT ALL, ONE IOTA
which will in time invite a Dollar Crisis
Sinclair expects a freefall by June 2004
that sounds about right to me
who am I to say otherwise?
