" If you don't think money to disprove global warming is not being offered you aren't living in frigid Colorado. Coincidentally, my wife's flower club had a speaker yesterday whose career has been devoted to the study of acid rain. He told the club that he knew of a "contract" of 500K offered to another researcher to prove his acid rain conclusions incorrect..they failed to do so. The special thing about science is that data must be verified by others before it is fully accepted.. re: October...we needed the air conditioner in October for the first time in 30+ years....does this prove global warming? Of course not....same for your story. re:most country's hate us anyway, regardless of President, because the resent or wealth. When I say most countries hate us I mean they dislike Bush...like it or not, Clinton and Carter are highly regarded around the world...
