Irrelevant details? You mean like how your "point" changed as soon as you figured out you were flat out wrong? Here's your post, including the line of the profile you objected to:

Now, how is what you said even remotely correct?

Oh, wait, now you want to redefine the word "serve" to mean "fought in"? What do the little underscores before and after "serve" mean? Is that like making little quotation mark gestures with your hands while emphasizing a spoken word?

"My point was that he did not _serve_ during Vietnam."

Sorry, but I don't think even GST would try that one.
