I know the big drop and what you reported on the bonds don't look good. I still believe that TE is a well run company and is not in serious trouble. larry

Just eyeballing the chart on TE, it doesn't look good. If anyone is looking to establish a long position on this stock, the odds say that lower prices are coming in the future. The daily chart shows a lot of continuous selling all through the day, not a gap down and recovery as one might expect:

I wouldn't be in a rush to buy it at $12, either. Let the price and volume action tell you where it wants to base and settle. The chart says a redux of $10.61 would not be out of the question and in fact seems almost likely.

As for the bonds, all BBB- trading in the high 80s, low 90s, that certainly doesn't spell "bankruptcy candidate" to me.

I may be interested in TE later, at a better price, since I think better prices are coming.
