No, ECB policy is "very bad for the whole world economy." They'd rather stifle what little growth exists for fear of 2.2% inflation. AG wants growth and knows enough to realize inflation is not going to be a problem. And if the dollar weakens, all the better for US corporate profits. Of course, the risk is that the flow of capital into the US takes a hit, but I'm not so sure that'll happen. If there's no growth in the EC or Japan, and if their central bankers are not willing to stimulate their economies, then why would anyone want to invest there? And if not there, where?

But has it really collapsed? A weaker dollar, to some degree, is bullish for our economy since it helps our export businesses, our foreign trade partners are encouraged to buy more goods from us...
