Yes, Berkshire is mostly tied to the USD. I guess you could argue that he owns large stakes in companies that do business around the world (like KO, AXP and G) - giving him some currency diversification, but those companies generally hedge at least some their currency exposure.

I'm not looking for a complete collapse of the USD. I think it is terribly mismanaged, but I think the same is true for most currencies. It's a race to the bottom.

IMHO, we are all currently locked into a horrible international financial system. However, I think everything will be done to preserve it - including lying, cheating, manipulation, and war.
