Iorne - Your link leads to a message board and I could not find the sentence you have pasted below re Israeli media reporting a suicide bomber caught with a towel around his genitals for protection, although there were various other comments of dubious credibility and, frankly, sanity. I also ran a Google search on "Al-Kushk genitals" and only two links came up, one of which is www.likud.nl . What it looks like to me is that either this is an urban legend (as it does not really look like it received wide coverage in any real news agency) or if it ever happened it was just one moron who did not realize blowing himself up in bloody bits would not be well for his family jewels. It certainly does not look like a tradition or something they all believe in.
