Kat,

<< Next project-"Wireless Horizon". >>

Have you managed to find a copy of that yet?

I've had a weird experience with it.

I advance ordered it from Amazon in May, and it was supposed to deliver mid-July. When I checked status a month ago Amazon had it still unavailable but they had a partner offering it "used". I cancelled my Amazon order and placed an order which was accepted by the partner. I then received a tentative ship notice. Last week I received a credit refund from Amazon for the AMEXcharge to the partner. !@#$

I am reading "Chasm Companion" right now by Chasm Group co-founder Paul Wieffels.

It is referred to as 'A Fieldbook to Crossing the Chasm and Inside the Tornado'. I consider it to be a good updated supplement to "The Gorilla Game".

The intro by Geoff states:

Once again, the realities and exigencies of execution begin to teach and inform the idealized forms of strategy development, leading to more messes and a couple more books, and eventually to the realization that this is all a dance, and that the job of the strategy consultant at the end of the day, is simply to keep dancing.

I'm wondering if LindyBill couldn't get a job with Chasm Group. <g>

I do have another (short) book to recommend and it really gets into the reasons for the optical equipment crash. The book is called "The Bandwidth Bubble Bust" by Grahame Lynch. [you might want to skip the Qualcomm chapter [<g>].

Best,
