The UN has decided, at least for now, not to become irrelevant. It approved an Iraq resolution. Not good enough yet, though. It doesn't actually authorize force.

As I predicted, Junior accepted the French proposal. This was never about the UN or Iraq, it was about making a big distraction during the election. The precidents that Junior and Rove set in the last few years are going to serve this country very badly, very badly indeed.
